Alum Spotlight

On August 18, A Long Walk Home’s Girl/Friends Leadership Institute made its 1st national television appearance on MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry Show. Executive Director, Scheherazade Tillet, was recognized as a "Foot Soldier" for the work that she, the ALWH staff, and the amazing Girl/Friends Teen Leaders are doing to end sexual and dating violence in communities all over the country. Honoring the Next Generation Awards
Arts & Healing Network

Every year the Arts and Healing Network honors healing artists who are truly making a difference in the world. Our hope is that these awards offer the recipients encouragement and support to continue and expand their outstanding work. We also hope that by highlighting these artists on our web site that their amazing work will inspire others and light the way for more healing artists.

The Arts & Healing Network is actively seeking nominations for a round of awards called “Honoring the Next Generation,” which focuses on artists using art to heal who are 18-35 years old.
