Nearly 100 works by Little City artists, including 

Tarik Echols, Harold Jeffries, John King, Wayne 

Mazurek and Luke Tauber, as well as a 40 foot long 

mural The Outside and Inside Shine of the Mirror 

Trains  will be on display. This comprehensive 

exhibition includes drawings, paintings, sculptures, computer generated 

images and videos. Full Circle: Art from Little City Foundation will be 

dedicated to Little City artist, Mike Lyon, whose work continues to captivate 

all who encounter it.

Military Sexual Trauma Workshop for 
Mental Health Professionals

Health & Disability Advocates
Health & Disability Advocates presents a special session for community-based organizations interested  in  serving  the  behavioral  and  mental  health  needs  of  military  Service  Members, Veterans, and their families.  No previous experience or prerequisite is necessary.

The day begins with a morning that provides an overview of military and Veteran culture and the role of women in the military.  The afternoon focuses on Military Sexual Trauma (MST), unique needs associated with MST, PTSD, Suicide, Substance Abuse, how community organizations can help or collaborate with military organizations, and clinical approaches to working with this unique population.  We hope this session will build a foundation for a detailed conversation both during the training but also into the future.

Presenters include representatives from,
•    The Illinois National Guard Psychological Health Program,
•    Dept. of Veterans Affairs,
•    The Vet Center, and
•    Community agencies serving Veterans.
