Girl/Future: Youth Art to End Violence in Chicago



Girl/Friends is a yearlong program, in North Lawndale community, in which teen girls of color use art as a tool for social change. This summer, their leadership training took place at the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which will host "Girl/Future: Youth Art to End Violence in Chicago." This exhibit will feature the self-portraits, poetry, photography, digital installations, and dance created by our Girl/Friends teen leaders to end youth violence in Chicago.
