Request for Survey Participation

Greetings clinician,

I am a doctoral student in the Clinical Forensic Psychology program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and am seeking research participants with any of the following licenses or certifications: Drug and Alcohol Counselor, MFT, LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist. Your participation will involve completion of a brief one-time questionnaire regarding perspectives on co-occurring disorder treatment. The questionnaire includes 12 Likert-type questions (strongly disagree – strongly agree) as well as three multiple-choice questions about your professional experience. All participants’ survey forms are submitted anonymously. You will not receive any additional emails, unless you expressly request information concerning the findings of the study. The entire questionnaire takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

The goal of this research is to investigate associations between clinicians’ license or certification types and treatment preferences for co-occurring disorders. The study will fill a gap in the current literature, offering findings that hold potential to inform the advancement of interdisciplinary efforts in the provision of co-occurring disorder treatment.

As an incentive to participate, you will be entered into a drawing to win one of two $50 VISA gift cards. All participants will be entered into the drawing upon completion of the survey. To protect anonymity, you may create a new email account to enter in the drawing.
