Fulton Street Collective is pleased to announce our 2014 Winter Open House. Guests are invited to tour the studios, meet the artists, and enjoy an evening immersed in local art, music and performance. The event will be held on Saturday, December 13, 7pm – Midnight at their gallery and studios at 2000 W Fulton Street, (Fulton and Damen) in Chicago. A suggested donation of $10 directly supports the cost of materials and programming.

Twice a year, the Fulton Street Collective opens its doors to the public to showcase the members’ artwork, the mission of the collective, and the work o...f their partner organizations. FSC supporters and new visitors alike are invited to enjoy art, music and beverages while supporting Chicago’s vibrant and innovative visual art scene. The event offers a unique opportunity for guests to experience a behind-the-scenes look inside the studios of local artists working in a range of media. A program of live music, dance, and performance art will complement the visual art exhibition.

Fulton Street Collective is organizing a powerful roster of artists, musicians, and performance groups to participate this year. Entertainment will include live performances on both floors every hour including performances by Laboratory Dancers and Chicago Hoop Dancers. The show will feature a selection of work by FSC members and include painting, printmaking, glass, sculpture, photography, and digital media. Additional exhibitions and installations will occupy shared studio spaces.

EXHIBITING MEMBERS include Dujuan Austin, Gunjan Chawla, Yvonne Doll, Haiba Hamilton, Patrick Morrissey, Charlotte Newman, Kevin O'Rourke, Karen Parisian, Cameron Pfiffner, Christina Sedlemeiar, Jenny Stocker and Rani Young.
