No clay experience necessary, no talking about trauma expected
Facilitated by Corinne Peterson

"In ancient times, memorial cairns formed from local rocks were used as places of burial. In this workshop, you will be guided to make clay rock shapes to honor your personal pain history. Rocks from many such workshops around Chicago will be assembled to form one such cairn. In addition, you will be guided to make white porcelain clay objects to celebrate your inner beauty. A touch of gold will be added to each object of hope, which will be suspended
together to form a luminous cloud. Together the dark
and light clay pieces will transform individual
experiences of loss and hope into a collective expression
of healing."
