Creature Comforts Exhibition, Panel, & Art Therapy Workshop

November 10, 2015

Creature Comforts is a campus-wide SAIC community event that celebrates mental and emotional resilience among SAIC's community of artists. Its program consists of an exhibition, panel discussions, and visits by therapy animals held over November and December, 2015.

Creature Comforts explores the idiosyncratic relationship between animals and ourselves. We are looking for works that celebrate our connection with nature, as manifested in various ways through our daily routines, our causes, and intellectual engagement with caring for others and oneself. This campus-wide exhibition opportunity is open to all current SAIC students, alumni, and staff. The exhibition spaces include the cafeteria area on 2nd floor of Sharp building; cafeteria area on 12th to 14th floor of MacLean building; and office of Wellness Center. All media are encouraged. For information and application
details, visit www.tinyurl.com/creature-comfortsINFO.

All completed applications must be sent tosaic.creaturecomforts@gmail.com.
Deadline Friday, October 23, 11:59 p.m.

SSATA will be hosting an art therapy workshop featuring our very own Master of Arts in Art Therapy students! Watch for us on November 10th at the panel, at 5:30pm! Art Therapy faculty's Suellen Semekoski will be moderating the panel!
