The Chicago Forum for Justice in Health Policy:
Investing in Chicago’s SchoolsThursday,
Loyola University Regents Hall (Lewis Towers, 111 E. Pearson, 16th floor)
Registration: $15 (Fee waivers available upon request)
Health & Medicine invites you to our discussion on investing in Chicago’s schools. Together, we will dig deeper into education’s relationship to a just society, and ask: “What investments, beyond education, are needed to create and sustain an equitable City?”
This conversation will build on Health & Medicine’s 2014 Education and Health Equity Forum which brought together hundreds of education and health professionals to examine the reciprocal relationship between the two fields. We will also examine public health’s role in advancing equitable, high-quality public education.
Join us on as we push the education conversation toward investment in our youth, in our schools, and in our communities.
