Spring Art Therapy Symposium Featuring Presentation by
Holly Feen-Calligan, Ph.D., ATR-BC
About the Keynote Speaker: For 27 years, Dr. Holly Feen-Calligan has directed the art therapy program at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. In this capacity she has negotiated art therapy internships and service-learning placements in neighborhoods all over the city and surrounding suburbs, allowing her to interact with numerous social service agencies, art centers, city leaders and citizens. In 2010 she co-founded ArtsCorpsDetroit, aimed at strengthening university-community relationships, service-learning and volunteerism for students, alumni and others who want to help revitalize the City of Detroit through the arts. A prominent speaker and published author, Holly’s diverse areas of research include effective models of service-learning, resiliency in African American homeless women, and community based art therapy models.

- Time slots will be 50 minutes (papers and performances), or 1 hour and 50 minutes (workshops and panels).
- Conference registration fees will be waived for all presenters of all accepted workshops, paper presentations and panel discussions.

1. Program title (12 words or less)
2. Program description (50 words or less)
3. Presentation Objectives (three measurable objectives)
4. Brief biographical information for each presenter, including your current position
