Call for Participants: Research Project

Haley Haggerty, a graduate student researcher in the Creative Arts Therapy program at Nazareth College in Rochester, New York is in need of your help!

I am conducting a thesis research project titled "The Benefits of Using Animal Assisted Therapy in an Art Therapy Setting."  The purpose of this study is to investigate the percentage of practicing therapeutic professionals that utilize art and animal assisted therapy together in their clinical settings as well as to investigate the benefits of using both therapies in conjunction with each other. Additionally, this study aims to investigate the attitudes of licensed mental health professionals regarding the use of animal assisted therapy in an art therapy setting.

This research includes participation in an anonymous Qualtrics survey, which is attached in the link at the bottom of this email. There are no anticipated risks associated with participation in this survey. Participation in this project is voluntary and may be discontinued at any time. The survey will take approximately 10-25 minutes of your time.
