SAIC Day of Service

Current SAIC Students are invited and encouraged to participate in SAIC’s second annual Day of Service. SAIC has made a long-term commitment to Chicago’s North Lawndale community offering art and design programming, such as a visiting artists’ residency and courses in the newly renovated Nichols Tower in the Homan Square area. As part of this commitment you could be part of SAIC’s Day of Service, a program that is focused on serving the neighborhood’s community through student, faculty, and staff collaboration. SAIC’s Day of Service is presented by the Earl and Brenda Shapiro Center for Research and Collaboration.
